Project Overview

The Literacy Council of Western Arkansas is a Fort Smith nonprofit that has provided free adult education across Sebastian County for more than 40 years, offering tutoring, ESL classes, and workforce literacy programs. Branchout partnered with LCWA to refresh its logo and rebuild its website into a more functional, modern platform for learners, tutors, and donors.

Challenge

LCWA's website was outdated and built in-house, with a strictly static structure that offered little more than a basic contact form. As the organization's programs grew, the site couldn't keep up — there was no way for learners or tutors to apply online, no dedicated space to highlight programs or supporters, and no built-in path for donations. LCWA needed a more robust website that could actually support how the organization operates today.

Solution

Branchout redesigned LCWA's logo to give the organization a fresher, more modern look, then built a new website around it. The site now includes digital application forms, making it easy for learners and tutors to get involved without printing or mailing anything in. We also added dedicated sections for supporters and programs, an FAQ page to answer common questions up front, and a direct donation link — giving LCWA one central site that supports learners, volunteers, and donors alike.
